I still have 3 bottles that we snuck out and somehow got down here to sunny FL. I haven't had a drink since the millenium so it will sit for a while longer.:P

John Rogan:  Hi John and Nancy.  Hope you folks are safe from Hurricane Matthew.

Lyle Forsythe:  Creative! Hope you enjoyed the wine and your cruise.

Sandra Brown(Cykoski):  Sorry it took so long to respond (winery, grandkids, etc).  Okay to save the wine bottles as souvenirs, but sweet wines don't improve with age. Enjoy the weather in Texas.

Dorothy Fargo(Reed):  Glad you like the wine. Enjoy the wedding. Hope you avoid Hurricane Matthew!

David Lesher:  Hope you missed Hurricane Matthew.  The bottles of wine are sweet; therefore, they won't last. Nice for souvenirs.

Barbara and I wish you and your family's a very merry Christmas 2017. We are doing fine and my bruses are where they won't show.

Would like to suggest John Rogan add Jim and Judy to this website.

WELL, RAY, IT LOOKS LIKE YOU MIGHT LIVE REAL CLOSE TO A WALMART.(THEY SEEM TO HAVE FORGOTTEN THAT THERE'S THANKSGIVING TOO).

THAT NOT WITHSTANDING, I WISH YOU AND ALL OF OUR CLASSMATES THE BEST OF THE HOLIDAY SEASON.

I'M THRILLED THAT SO MANY OF US HAVE COME TO EMBRACE OUR LORD. IT'S MORE IMPORTANT NOW THAN EVER FOR US TO PRAY FOR ONE ANOTHER. IT WORKED FOR YOU FOR SURE.

PUT IN A WORD FOR ME AS I WILL BE HAVING A HEART VALVE REPLACED SOON. I'M GOING TODAY TO MEET THE SURGEON.

AS SANDY AND WOULD SAY, " ALL Y'ALL HAVE A WONDERFUL HOLIDAY SEASON."

GOD BLESS

Hi All my Saegertown 64 Classmates,

I am not sure this will be posted right but here goes.  Jerry and I would like to wish you a Happy Thanksgiving and Merry Christmas...  what a joyous time of year.

On another sort of down note, I was diagnosed with Acute Leukemia about two weeks ago. I will be going back to MD Anderson to start treatments tomorrow and will have 5 consecutive days of Chemo plus mega does of Vitamin D (new study).  They have come out with some "new drugs expermental drugs" for leukemis and I am on that experiment list.  Not sure but I may glow at night, just kidding. I wanted to let you know this and ask for your prayers for me and Lyle as well.  This was quite a surprise since I had none of the symptoms and still do not, like tired, etc.  I am still gowing strong for now.  I did have some weight loss but thought nothing of it since I am never still.  Wanted to tell you because i found out this affects more older people than it does children.  MDA has an East and West wing just for us Seniors .  I am blessed because my Dr. is the head of the MDA leukemia department and it is the best hospital in the world for cancer.  A little hard to get to for us but it is worth the hassle I hope.

Thanks for listening, I wanted my friends to know.  Please keep me and especially my family in your prayers if you will and I will post when I can.  Love you guys, Always, S.

tDear Sandy and Lyle,

I wish you the best of luck with your medical problems, procedures and treatments.  Sandy,

you have always glowed- day or night without any radiation or chemicals needed.  Lyle,

heart issues take on a special emotional  trauma I think (not that leukemia doesn't) but being

tied to our heads in a special way, means 🎀🎼🎧  ""You Gotta Have Heart" to focus all your

attention and energies towards repair and healing.   You're in the best hands here on earth,

and heart problems are scarey, but advances in medicine surely  help make your outcomes  positive.

I have a great nephew who was born with only a 2 chambered heart and after many surgeries it is

Hard to hold him down.

I'll keep you both in my mind with positive vibrations!

JUDy Smith (Shumaker)

Hi Sandy,  I've been thinking and praying for you too.  I have quite a list of  friends, relatives, and  acquaintances who have survived similar illnesses which might have taken them 5 years ago and longer but each year, more advances are made and they have survived.  Amazing cures happen every day!  One guy is a former trucker who has had  a lung removed, another is David's brother who was treated at Roswell with consultation from MD Anderson.  He had had a stroke 2 years before which disabled him and then a very rare type of tumor in his sinus.  He was given a 50/50 chance and that was 5-6 years ago and he is doing good with no more issues.  Keeping you in my prayers.  Judy

Thank you Judy, much appreciate your prayers and thoughts...  I have had 5 chemo treatments daily and am in the waiting stage right now with lots of bloodwork, etc.  I like to hear the success stories and happy that all are doing well.  I have complete confidence that I will beat this one and yes I have a great Dr. and MDA cannot get any better than that.  God is in charge so I am taking it a day at a time.  Jerry is a trooper.  Thanks Love S

Hi Ray and Barb and All, Yes, Barb I never quite believed all the black and blue marks that Ray saya he hides with his clothes.  I saw you on the step ladder decorating the tree a picture he took from the recliner showing his feet in a very relaxed position....  You two are a hoot. Jerry and I wish everyone a wonderful holiday season, great Thanksgiving and a truly Christ filled Christmas.

I will be see my cancer Dr. Tuesday and we will see what he has to say but I was told by others that I am still in remission at this point.  I am truly blessed.  I did spend a week in the hospital because of a bout with cellulites on my left knee, getting better.  Love all you guys and prayers for the ones we have lost in our class...  a void that cannot be filled. Happy Thanksgiving and Merry Christmas.

I cannot find any words to express how I'm feeling as an angel has gone home. We were so blessed to have shared some of her wonderfulness. RIP our beautiful Sandy.

I'm not alone in the feeling of loss in Sandy's passing. But our loss is her gain. She's young and strong again with the Lord she loved.
She's not gone, just changed, with a new address.
Prayers going out for Jerry and family.
