Finally got to open a bottle of Mary's awesome wine while on my first ever cruise.
On the 6th Day of a 7 day trip we decided to celebrate only to find a cork, not a cap. (shoulda known better).
What follows is what you do when you don't have a corkscrew and are too cheap to pay the shipboard $5.00 corkage fee.
* Go to the cafe and get a knife & fork.
* Go back to your room & pry one tine out with the knife bend it out 90 degrees
* Use the little hole in your wife's nail clippers to curl the tip end of the tine.
* Next I used a larger hole in a key to form a screw twist.
* Crank it in as far as it will go and pull.
I've got pics and will post them as soon as I find them. Thanks again Mary.

That is too funny Lyle. I still have my bottle of Mary's wine sitting on back of our bar and I still use my Saegertown '64 wine glasses.  Thanks Mary and John Rogan. Today is October 1 and we finally have gorgeous fall weather in TX, lovin it right Lyle?  Hope everyone at Saegertown '64 has a wonderful fall and mild winter. Thinking of all of you. Love S

Awesome Dot, enjoy the FL weather. Loved Mary's wine too, that is so neat that Conneat Lake has a winery.  Speaking of the Lake, we went to the CL Park while in PA this summer for family reunion.  Jerry, our two sons and their wives rode the Blue Streak, Jerry rode in last car and he said he caught air.  I think they are original cars, good Heavens. I valued the remainder of my life too much to ride that thing.
